Newsman: Police say a 17-year-old girl was shot in the face and killed where two men opened fire on a group of friends sitting on a stoop in Brooklyn Wednesday. The 17-year-old girl was hanging with a group of people in front of the location, when two unidentified men approached the group and fired several shots at them according to the police.
The girl was shot in the face. She was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say the two suspects fled the scene on a single scooter. The incident happened at 1225 Eastern Parkway in the Crown Heights section
