Newsman: A teenager was killed and three people were wounded, including an 11-year-old, when gunfire erupted outside a high school graduation ceremony in California.
One person was killed and three were injured, including a child, when a shooting broke out at a graduation for a California high school the evening of June 3, authorities said.
About 1,000 people were at the graduation “with hundreds of potential witnesses to this tragedy,” police said in a statement on Thursday.

The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District said in a statement, “Our thoughts are with the individuals affected.”
The shooting happened on the Fairfield High School campus, where a graduation ceremony was being hosted for nearby Sem Yeto High School, also located in Fairfield, California, a city of about 122,000 residents near Sacramento, police said. Michelle Belyea said there wasn’t any indication of an active threat to the community, but the investigation was still active. There were no suspects in custody, reported ABC 7.
