Newsman: The United States State Department on Monday said the U.S. stands with the people of Bangladesh and urged all parties to refrain from further violence as an interim government is formed.
“Too many lives have been lost over the course of the past several weeks, and we urge calm and restraint in the days ahead,” spokesperson Matthew Miller said at a news briefing in Washington.
