Newsman: Alexander K Hardin, Regional Director of the US department of State and the Consul General of Bangladesh in New York Dr Monirul Islam has expressed optimism towards further strengthening and expanding mutual bilateral relation between two friendly countries in a meeting on Wednesday.
“Cooperation on Consular and community services” was focused in discussion, said Dr. Islam, Consul General of Bangladesh.
Consulate general of Bangladesh said in a statement that, the routine meeting was very fruitful towards stronger bonding through more deeper understanding between the people of two friendly countries as we are celebrating the 50 years of diplomatic relation between The United States and Bangladesh this year.
The statement also mentioned that the discussion was not limited but to share the possibilities of exports including pharmaceutical goods from Bangladesh besides readymade garments.
Dr. Monirul Islam, Consul General of Bangladesh in New York shared the various developments and achievements under the leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Especially the achievement on challenging the environmental impact due to the global worming across the globe, statement said.
