Newsman: Shooting in a Brooklyn restaurant killed one person and injured another one. Incident took place in Brownsville Brooklyn on Thursday morning. Injured person was in the hospital while reporting.
Two men in their 40s were hit multiple times and taken to Brookdale University Hospital where one of them was pronounced dead. That man was identified as 46-year-old Eyon Johnson. The other victim, a 45-year-old man, was shot up to a dozen times and rushed to the hospital, where he is expected to survive.
Surveillance video shows two men entering Miguel’s Jamaican Restaurant on Strauss Street in Brownsville Thursday morning.
A few moments after one man can be seen running out of the restaurant, turning back, and shooting at someone inside the restaurant.
Both of the suspects are described as wearing a black and a grey hoodie.
Police are looking into the motive behind the chaos and now putting the pieces together on a possible motive for the violent act. Police are searching for the black SUV they fled the scene in.
No arrests have been made.
