Newsman: A man was shot near Times Square on Thursday and later died in Hospital. Police said, the 22-year-old was shot after a fight, with two other men, one of whom had a gun and fired one shot that hit the victim in the chest.
The victim then ran a full city block before he collapsed in front of a deli at 43rd Street and 8th Avenue, where he begged a worker to call 911.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai West, where he later died from his injuries.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday on 44th Street and 8th Avenue prompting a massive police scene near one of the busiest parts of New York City.
Police shut down 8th Avenue for hours as they searched for clues into the shooting.
There have been no arrests.
