Newsman: A man was struck and dead by a train in Queens on Tuesday morning, according to police and the MTA. Trains on the No. 7 subway line were running with delays due to the incident.
he incident happened at the Junction Boulevard station around 7:11 a.m. The man was hit by a Manhattan-bound train and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Service was temporarily suspended between Flushing-Main Street and 33rd Street-Rawson Street.
Police did not provide additional information about how the man ended up on the train tracks.
The MTA announced that trains resumed running with delays at around 9:26 a.m.
Commuters were advised to take the E, F, M, N, R, and W trains or an NYC Transit bus.
