Newsman: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said that “today is indeed a dark day” for the country following news of former President Donald Trump’s indictment in the special counsel’s classified documents probe.
“It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him. Joe Biden kept classified documents for decades,” McCarthy said on Twitter.
